IBCSR Outreaches

The Independent Baptist Church of Siem Reap has always had village outreaches since the beginning of our ministry. We have been to many villages and by God's grace, have been a blessing to the less fortunate here  in Cambodia. Once we reach a village, we start off by introducing ourselves as missionaries and offer free English classes and Bible studies. Buddhist people will normally not have any interest  in the gospel message but with the freedom we have here in Cambodia, the government allows us to preach to those who willingly come to our meeting places. One way for them to have interest in coming is to study the English language. Through these classes, countless Khmers have heard the gospel. We do not claim much salvation but the seed has been planted in those hearts. Today, we still see some of those young kids, now grownups, have interest in the word of God and come to church ever so often. We continue to reach new villages and start new works around the province of Siem Reap. We are praying that  through these outreaches, we can train young men and women who will give their  lives to the Lord.

Today, we have one exisiting outreach remaining. This is not because the outreaches have closed but due to some of the men handling the outreach have been sent out to start their own mission works through the authority of the Independent Baptist Church of Siem Reap. Praise the Lord for what He is doing!

Tropung Svay Outreach

Started in the year 2018, Tropung Svay was reached by Bro. Gomer Peña and his family. They started by teaching kids the English language and inviting their parents as well. Today, this outreach continues to have worship services every Sunday despite not having English classes anymore. That shows us that the people continue to have a desire to study the word of God even without the outside benefits they had at the beginning of this outreach.

Chansor Outreach

This outreach was started by Bro. Joel Madlang-awa II in the year of 2016 back when he was still single. Since then, the Lord has blessed this ministry. The outreach has produced young men who are still in the Lord's service today. Bro. Joel II together with his wife, Jahlil, and their daughter, Jael has now been sent out and this outreach is now a mission. Bro. Joel II and his family are now serving the  Lord full-time in this place and we are looking forward to more and more young people surrendering their lives to the Lord's work through this ministry.
